Water for Gas is a Scam!
...at least, that's what various experts tell us is so. Water for gas is a joke according to them. So what do these "experts" have to say? According to a Consumer Affairs article, water for gas is a massive scam that will waste time and money, and won't get you better gas mileage. One expert, a professor, went as far as to say that it's "Laughable". They go on to say that these hho gas devices and manuals are total scams run by seasoned online scammers who have tried various techniques to make a quick buck online offering nothing but false hopes. Naturally, though, they explain their reasoning behind their opinions, as any good expert should.
Evidence that Water for Gas is a Scam
The 1st Law of Thermodynamics is cited on a few web sites as a major reason why these hho gas systems won't work, but will, in fact, cause your car to work even harder, reducing gas mileage. In addition, here are the claims by experts in the above article that you can't run your car on water. - A dynamometer isn't used to test true results.
- Regular drivers can't accurately estimate MPG, however we disagree. Follow these guidelines to calculate gas mileage.
- Car Batteries can't generate the necessary power.
- Government tests in Canada showed a 4% increase in gas mileage, though we've seen no source information on this.
- The engine must work harder to power this device, thereby decreasing fuel economy.
- Mixing water and gasoline can do some serious damage to your vehicle. However, water is not actually mixed with gas, rather hydrogen obtained from the water is.
- Hydrogen can power a car, the skeptics say, but the results are unproven in day-to-day driving .
Is Water for Gas Suppressed by the Oil Companies and Government?
Many of the hho gas supporters claim that the reason the government and corporations have used experts to state that you can't run your car on water is because they are suppressing the technology for their own financial interests. The U.S. government isn't claiming that hydrogen fuel won't work. EPA UPDATE: We've yet to find any studies or information that the EPA has engaged in regarding hho gas. We cannot verify the claim made on others sites that the EPA has concluded that these devices do not work. So, far from suppressing the water for gas story, it appears that the government is indifferent to it. It could be simply - like many other things which work but are no longer subject to patent, like Vitamin C and Codliver oil - that the big companies have no interest in promoting water fuel technologies, and the established "experts" are more comfortable with the status quo.
